We sit talking sports. Doug Williams to Trent
Dilfer to Philadelphia sports teams and it goes
To Pele Linbergh – “Hey Tad, you remember the
Cabbie in Edinburgh Scotland that got you
The Pele Lindbergh autograph? How about the
Locker room visit to the Edmonton Oilers in
Toronto?” — Live free or die, no, it was
“Ride to Live, Live to Ride” on sweat pants bought
Because of a full-length rip in trousers.

Here it is 6pm on a Sunday and the only thing
Open in Toronto is a souvenir shop with
Harley Davidson pants. I show up on the front
Row, button down shirt, nice tie and Harley
Sweats, classy. Wiggie’s son died that night.
You Tad, died before I could get back today. So I
Take solace in strangers waiting to fly on a rainy day.
All flights are delayed, and I’ll be late into Fort
Myers, so Mike will have to wait before we hug.
